About ozburbs

ozburbs is a directory of local Australian businesses, organised the way people actually look for help: by what they need and the suburb they are in.

Every business chooses a base suburb and how far it travels, so a search for plumbers in Box Hill shows every plumber who works there, closest first, not only the ones with a Box Hill address.

Built to be fast

Pages are served from data centres around Australia and search answers in milliseconds, because nobody waits for a slow page when a pipe has burst.

Checked by people

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and anyone can report a listing that is wrong or closed.

Where the suburb data comes from

Suburbs, postcodes and locations come from GeoNames under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.
